Kaminembe
Kaminembe community is in Mwapula ward in Chisamba district in Central Province and made up of five villages with 310 households and an estimated population of 1,550. Community members in Kaminembe are involved in agriculture and animal rearing as the main economic activities. The community has a poor communication as well as a poor road network. The community has one primary school which is government supported.
Collaboration with ZGF: The community is building a clinic as the nearest clinic is 15 km away. The community has also formed two saving groups using the SaveNet approach to saving groups. Further, Kanjanie Multi-Purpose Cooperative has been formed to oversee all the developmental work in the community.
